= 20 / 6 m/sec.
∴ Distance covered in 5 min. = ( 20 / 6) x 5 x 60 m
= 1000 m.
∴ Length of diagonal = 1000 m
Area of the field = 1/2 x (diagonal)2
= 1/2 x 1000 x 1000 m2
= 500000 m2 (ans)
